Ingredients for 12 parts
- 1 egg
- 50 g. butter
- 50 g. sugar
- 0.25 c. à c. sea salt
- 150 g. soft / patent flour
- 2 c. à s. semi-skimmed milk
- 5 g. baking powder
- 200 g. turnips
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Finely grate the turnip.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the grated turnip, melted butter, egg, and milk. Mix until you get a smooth dough.
- Place small spoonfuls of dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- Let cool on a wire rack before enjoying.
