Ingredients for 2 parts
- 1 egg
- 0.25 c. à c. sea salt
- 1 chicken breast
- 30 g. breadcrumbs
- 80 g. flour
- 0.25 c. à c. garlic powder
- 0.25 c. à c. black pepper
- 250 ml. sunflower oil
- 0.25 c. à c. dried oregano
- 25 ml. buttermilk
- 0.25 c. à c. paprika
- 0.25 c. à c. dried sage
- 30 g. corn flakes
Steps
- Preheat the fryer to 180°c.
- Cut the chicken breast in half lengthwise and pound the pieces to soften them and even out the thickness to 3mm.
- Prepare the marinade by mixing the hot sauce and buttermilk in a bowl.Place the chicken fillet in the marinade and let it soak for 30 minutes.
- Beat the egg in a plate, in the second mix the flour and spices and in the third reduce the corn petals to a coarse powder.
- Dip the marinated fillets in the flour and spice mixture, then in the bowl with the eggs and finally in the bowl of cornflakes.
- Shake off any excess flour and cook each piece for about 6 minutes until golden brown.
