Steps

  1. Boil the eggs in a saucepan for 10 minutes. Cool, peel, and slice.
  2. Cut the bread in half horizontally. Remove some of the crumb.
  3. Generously drizzle the inside of the bread with olive oil.
  4. Fill the bread with the tuna, sliced tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, olives, anchovy fillets, sliced bell pepper and sliced red onion.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and some basil leaves. Drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Close the bread. Enjoy immediately or let it sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
