Utensils

1 knife1 sauce pan1 ladle4 jars 1L

Ingredients for 4 parts

Steps

  1. Wash the oranges thoroughly. Zest two oranges and cut the zest into thin strips. Peel all the oranges and cut them into pieces, removing the seeds.
  2. In a saucepan, mix the orange pieces, zest, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring regularly, until the marmalade thickens.
  3. Add the lemon juice and cook for another 15 minutes.
  4. Check the consistency of the marmalade by placing a small spoonful on a cold plate. If it sets quickly, it's ready.
  5. Pour the hot marmalade into the sterilized jars, leaving a small space at the top. Seal the jars tightly and turn them upside down until completely cooled.
