Ingredients for 10 parts

Steps

  1. Melt the butter over low heat. Off the heat, add the honey to relax it.
  2. Sift the flour, gingerbread spices and Alsatian yeast into a bowl. Add the sugar and mix.
  3. Make a well, add the honey-butter mixture and mix.
  4. Gradually pour in the milk, mixing well until you get a cake batter consistency.
  5. Butter and flour the gingerbread mold. Pour the batter into it.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest overnight in the refrigerator.
  7. Preheat oven to 155°C. Bake the gingerbread for 1 hour.
