Ingredients for 12 parts
- 2 eggs
- 100 g. butter
- 100 g. sugar
- 120 g. flour
- 20 g. powdered sugar
- 5 g. dry yeast
- 1 lemon peel
Steps
- Beat the eggs and sugar in a bowl until fluffy.
- Add the flour and baking powder, then stir in the melted butter. Mix well until you have a smooth batter.
- Add the grated lemon zest (optional).
- Grease and flour the madeleine pan.
- Fill each mold cavity 3/4 full.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes, until the madeleines are golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before dusting with icing sugar (optional).
