Ingredients for 8 parts

Instructions

  1. In the saucepan, boil the milk with the vanilla pod split lengthwise.In the bowl, mix the sifted cornstarch with the sugar then add the beaten eggs and mix.
  2. Add the boiling milk without the pod.
  3. Cook the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, for 1 min 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200°C and butter the dish to put in the oven.
  5. Pour the mixture into it and level the surface.
  6. Cook for 25 to 35 minutes, until the surface lightly browns.
