Steps

  1. Remove the thin membrane surrounding the cod roe pouch.
  2. Mash the cod roe with a fork in a bowl.
  3. Add the lemon juice and crème fraîche.
  4. Mix until a smooth and creamy texture is obtained.
  5. If the taste is too strong, add a slice of bread previously soaked in milk.
  6. Spread on bread and add a few drops of lemon juice.
