Ingredients for 4 parts
- 500 g. tomatoes
- 1 c. à c. sea salt
- 2 onions
- 2 garlics
- 3 c. à s. olive oil
- 1 c. à c. black pepper
- 2 poivrons
- 150 ml. vin blanc
- 5 g. thyme
- 2 felii de șunca presată
- 1.5 Kg. free range chicken
- 2 bay leaves
Steps
- Cut the chicken into pieces.
- Slice the onion and peppers. Mince the garlic.
- In a cocotte, heat the olive oil and brown the chicken pieces.
- Add the onion, garlic, and peppers and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, thyme, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in the white wine, cover, and simmer over low heat for 60 minutes.
- Add the ham cut into lardons at the end of cooking.
- Serve hot.
