Steps
- Wash the basil and remove the stems.
- Boil water and blanch the leaves for a second and quickly transfer to a bowl filled with cold water with ice cubes.
- Dry the leaves using a cloth.
- Add the oil and mix.
- On top of the saucepan, place the strainer and place a sheet of paper towel on it to act as a filter.
- Strain the mixture.
- Heat for 3 minutes over high heat and strain again.
- Let cool and consume.
