Ingredients for 8 parts
- 2 eggs
- 100 g. butter
- 150 g. sugar
- 0.5 c. à c. sea salt
- 250 g. flour
- 1 c. à c. baking powder
- 3 bananas
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1 c. à c. baking soda
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
- Add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix just enough to combine, without overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it to a wire rack to cool completely.
