Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
  3. Add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix just enough to combine, without overmixing.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it to a wire rack to cool completely.
