Ingredients for 10 parts
- 60 g. butter
- 160 g. flour
- 70 g. whole milk
- 50 g. pur sucre de canne
- 5 g. baking powder
- 160 g. honey
- 2 c. à c. gingerbread spices
Steps
- Melt the butter over low heat. Off the heat, add the honey to relax it.
- Sift the flour, gingerbread spices and Alsatian yeast into a bowl. Add the sugar and mix.
- Make a well, add the honey-butter mixture and mix.
- Gradually pour in the milk, mixing well until you get a cake batter consistency.
- Butter and flour the gingerbread mold. Pour the batter into it.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let rest overnight in the refrigerator.
- Preheat oven to 155°C. Bake the gingerbread for 1 hour.
