Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan.
  2. Add the flour all at once and mix until you get a smooth and homogeneous preparation. Cook for about 30 seconds to 1 minute to dry the mixture.
  3. Pour in the cold milk all at once and whisk.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for 5 to 7 minutes until thickened.
  5. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
