Strawberry jam in Marga style

Ingredients for 100 parts
- 2 Kg. sugar
- 1 lemon
- 4 Kg. strawberries
- 1 g. aspirin
Steps
- Wash the strawberries in water, hull them and cut the larger ones in half.
- In a large container, add the sugar, lemon and aspirin to the strawberries and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
- Cook in small batches for around 15 minutes, stir regularly and skim off the foam halfway through cooking.
- Test the consistency of the jam on a cold plate.
- Pour into the jars, turn them over and set aside in a cool place away from light.
