Ingredients for 10 parts
- 200 g. butter
- 2 c. à s. provence herbs
- 0.25 c. à c. sea salt
- 1 garlic
- 0.25 c. à c. black pepper
- 1 c. à s. lemon peel
Steps
- Let the butter soften at room temperature.
- Finely chop the garlic and herbs de Provence. Grate the lemon zest.
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter with the chopped garlic, herbs de Provence, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Mix well with a fork until you get a smooth mixture.
- Shape the compound butter into a log and wrap it in plastic wrap. Let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve chilled with grilled meats, fish, vegetables, or bread.
