Steps

  1. Prepare the rice: cook the round rice in a saucepan according to package instructions. In a bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Add this mixture to the cooked rice and mix gently.
  2. Prepare the tempura: in a bowl, mix the flour and ice water. Heat the frying oil in a fryer or saucepan.
  3. Dip the prawns in the tempura batter and fry until golden and crispy.
  4. Cut the cucumber, carrot, and avocado into thin strips.
  5. On a sushi mat, spread a sheet of nori. Cover with vinegared rice, leaving a small margin at the top. Arrange the tempura prawns and vegetables on the rice.
  6. Roll firmly using the sushi mat. Cut the rolls into slices.
  7. Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
