Ingredients for 4 parts
- 20 g. butter
- 1 c. à c. sea salt
- 1 onion
- 1 c. à c. black pepper
- 4 potatoes
- 3 carotts
- 200 g. snap beans green
- 2 turnips
- 200 g. green peas
- 500 ml. chicken broth
- 1 bouquet garni
Steps
- Peel and cut the carrots, potatoes, and turnips into medium-sized pieces. Mince the onion.
- In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the carrots, potatoes, and turnips. Sauté for a few minutes.
- Pour the chicken broth into the pot. Add the bouquet garni, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 30 minutes.
- Add the peas and green beans. Simmer for another 15 minutes, until all the vegetables are tender.
- Remove the bouquet garni before serving. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
